Without having to leave town, Eating Disorder Center of Fresno offers a continuum of developmentally appropriate treatment levels for you, your child, adolescent or family member. Stay in town and get well as a family.

Outpatient

For individuals in need of weekly or bi-weekly services.

Children / Adolescent

Adults

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

For individuals in need of a higher level of care that includes more structure and support
Frequency: 3–7 days / week; 3 hours / day

Children / Adolescent

  • Therapeutic meals/snacks
  • Weekly multi-modal meal support family group
  • Recovery & relapse prevention support

Adults

  • Therapeutic meals/snacks
  • Emphasis on recovery and relapse prevention skills
  • Weekly multi-modal meal support family group

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

For individuals stepping out of residential care or in need of more structure and support than IOP provides
Frequency: Frequency: 5–7 days / week; 6 hours / day

Children / Adolescent

  • Structured therapeutic meals
  • Group therapy sessions
  • Regular family participation enhances development of coping and recovery skills
  • Integrated school services coordinated with student’s home school
  • Multi-modal meal support family group

Adults

  • Structured therapeutic meals and snacks
  • Group therapy for development of emotion regulation and relapse prevention skills
  • Psychiatric assessment
  • Medication management
  • Medical monitoring
  • Individual/Family therapy

TeleMed Services

Available for all programs to those who reside geographically distant from Fresno
